Diabetic insulin therapy?


i am diabetic for over 25 yeras currently on three times insulin injection. if my blood sugar goes low to about 3-4mmls atimes and agian on eating shoots up to 10-11 , what kind adverse effects on general heath on a long term treatment basis .my average HbA1c almost 8 .
