I'm a DIABETIC, CAN I TAKE CREATINE? PLEASE HELP!?

Im a diabetic who wants to take the brand Cell Tech creatine, but it has a warning label that says diabetics shouldnt take it. Now most of the time these labels are stupid because they just put that there cuz the product has alot of carbs, which any healthy diabetic knows MEANS NOTHING. What i need to know is, other than having alot of carbs, will the creatine hurt my kidneys or another body part, that it woudnt normally hurt a regular person? I know i have to ask my doctor, but can somebody give me a clue before i call him?

Your health is nothing to play around with. It would be advisable to speak with your doctor as Creatine, in theory, may alter the activities of insulin. You should be careful especially if you are on insulin, taking diabetic medications, herbs, or a supplement that can affect blood sugar. You may still be able to take the Creatine however, your Doctor can help you to monitor the effects.

NO! you can't i took creatine and I started breaking out with hives they were purple and it spread easily.... your hairs start to discolor and fall off (not your head legs,arms,pubics) also your skin discolors.. gets a yellowish tinge

Your a diabetic, are you fat. Why dont you focus on losing weight and getting rid of your diabetes rather than creatine.

if im correct diabetic is something wrong with your insulin..well first muscle tech is no good , anyway, def not that brand, that creatine as 75 grams of dextrose, which is sugar, which spikes insulin levels, soim saying no, but ask you doctor...iwouldnt take it, def. if its muscletech
