Diabetic diet???

What is the best diet that a Diabetic can follow?

Can you also mention the possible fruits that a diabetic patient is allowed to eat, of course in small quantities?

The sugar substitutes like Zero sugar, Equal etc... aspartame/saccharine... do they pose any side effects?

Splenda is the best sugar substitute it is made from real sugar and it doesnt leave that after taste like other sweetners have,Strawberries and blueberries are good Eat fruits and veggies ,chicken,fish,and turkey and alot of fiber,found in dry peas and beans and of course greens.Aspartame is not good for you, did you know that apertame is made from imboming fluid

I found out I had Diabetes about 2 months ago. My Doctor had me register to take a Diabetic class at the hospital. The class was 2 hours once a week for 4 weeks. We learned so much in that class !!! Call your local hospital and see if they offer the same class. Some insurances pay for it !!! You will be glad you did !!!!!

Eat NO sugar including fruit. Eat meat, vegetables and whole grain carbohydrates.
