Does diabetic ketchup exist? if no what can i use to replace it with chicken or meat?(im diabetic type 1)?

i there is no diabetic ketchup i want something that would be nice with my meats, they r so dry without ketchup

yes, diabetic ketchup does exist, but it is horrible. Use tomato paste, beef broth, garlic and finely diced onion. sautee the garlic and onion together until the onions are nearly see-through. Mix in the tomato paste, some salt pepper and enough broth to get the mixture to the consistancy you want. Make a bunch of it and store it in a jar. It will keep for two months in the fridge and it is WAY better than ketchup. It will take you about an hour to make one quart.

I've never personally tried them, however, I have seen sugar-free ketchups on the market in my neighborhood. You could try your local supermarket or health food store. The source link will take you to a site where you can order one brand online. I can't vouch for the ketchup, but I've had some of their salad dressings, and they are pretty good.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

what kind of ketchup? tomato ketchup? soya sauce?
if you mean about tomato ketchup... I've never seen one.
but I've seen sugar free sweet soya sauce.

Check out the web site below for recipes.

Regular ketchup will not hurt you.
Just enjoy.

You eat so little that it isn't even noticeable.

Learn to be a label reader!! Counting Carbs is an art. The average serving of ketchup is about 1 tablespoon. There is at most 1 cup of sugar in a gallon of ketchup. that makes the amount of sugar minimal in a tablespoon of the finished product.

On my current bottle of ketchup the carb count for 1 serving is 4g!! Most of the grams of carb are the tomato itself, not the amount of sugar in it!!!

Yes there is a low carb ketchup that I use all the time and its better than the regular. In my supermarket I buy Hunts Low Carb. It has a nice kick to it. I buy that for me,I am a diabetic, hubby is in a no salt diet and I buy Hunts no sodium, and I buy regular for the family when they come to visit. We all love and use a lot of ketchup. Thank you Hunts for making them!

you can eat ketsup. yes it has little sugar but not enough to hurt thee are so many things you can use in place of ususally you don't eat alot of carbs (potatoes and rice) stuff like that bread and bread products eat lettuce and stuff like that.
