Under-eye dermatology question? |
In the last year or so, I've notice that I've developed several little 'cysts' around my eyes -- especially on the skin beneath the eye (the place where dark circles often appear). I tried scrubbing them off with a facial scrub, but they won't budge & they're not pimples. Should I see a dermatologist to have them removed? I'm wondering if they're caused by seasonal allergies (something else I've developed recently). Any input? They're not 'milia', either. They have no white 'head' on them. They sort of look like small, thin, raised warts, sort of, but not quite. They don't hurt or itch, either. Normally, very few people have blocked pores or zits in that undereye area, simply because of the lack of oil glands. You could simply have blocked pores, called milia. Go see a dermatologist, sounds like little blocked pores. If they look like tiny blobs of yellow, you should have your cholesterol checked. |
