Never been to a Dermatology appointment what to aspect?

Never been to a Dermatology appointment what to aspect?

If you are going for a specific problem ie facial acne, they examine closely and then treat. If you are going for skin lesions or for a complete check up, you will be examined head to toe while the doc looks for problems. If found, you can have suspect areas "frozen off. they use a spray of liquid nitrogen which does sting for a few seconds. Then the area sprayed (usually less than 1/8 to 1/2 inch) will scab over (don't pick at it as it will scar if you do) and then heal back to normal soft skin. I use those little round bandaids on em once I get home. By the time they peel off on their own, I'm all healed.

When I went, the dermatologist just looked at my face for about a minute, asked a few questions about what products I use, and gave me a prescription. And since I'm a girl, there was a girl assistant in there too just watching, which was awkward. The whole thing took about 10 minutes.
