Should i call my dermatology if i have a ringworm on my neck?

i want to find out if i have a ringworm on my neck but my mom say it a mosquito bite but idont know my aunt say it a ringworm plz help me asap b4 it spread????

It would be an expensive visit, even it did turn out to be ringworm and not a mosquito bite. If it's a mosquito bite, it will fade away in a day or so. If it's ringworm, you can treat that yourself at home using an antifungal cream ointment like those used to treat jock itch and athlete's feet. It's the same fungus causing all of them. If that doesn't seem to help, then you can just go see a routine run of the mill general care doctor. Ring worm is a pretty common ailment, nothing so exotic worth paying dermatologist rates for when a GP will do.

Ringworms are no big deal, just use blue star ointment on it for a few days and it will go away.

Ringworm has a definite 'look' - usually a round, reddish ring on the skin..itches of course...not to be confused with a mosquito bite, which is a single raised bump, unless you have a few bites all together. Garlic helps get rid of ringworm if you have it...take fresh garlic and cut a clove and rub it over area a few times a day...you'll smell like a pizza but get rid of the ringworm. Also at health food stores is Tea Tree Essential oil...this can also be rubbed (a drop) over area a few times a day.

You should be able to tell "ringworm" from mosquito bite. Ringworm is not a worm, like many people think, it's a fungus, you can treat it at home using an over the counter anti fungal cream.
