Persistant Pityriasis Rosea? |
I have what I'm nearly certain is Pityriasis rosea. While everything I've read on it says it should go away after a few weeks or a month, I've had it since about October or so. I'm starting to think it may be something more serious; anyone know anything about dermatology? My research indicates that 3 months is the outside limit. See below. Also, to assist you in evaluating whether you have this condition, I found an interesting fact showing that about half the people who develop pityriasis rosea have signs or symptoms of an upper respiratory infection 鈥?such as a stuffy nose, sore throat, cough or congestion 鈥?just before the herald patch appears. |
