Can anyone give me a diagnosis? Help!?

I've been to numerous doctors and had numerous tests including thyroid, lupus, dermatology tests, etc. No one has an answer for me. Here are my symptoms: I get episodes where my face (around my mouth, cheeks, eyebrows) will get a tingling feeling, in a few minutes it flares up red and I get like blotches. I have lost almost 50% of my eyebrows, and they do not grow back. The only thing that showed up abnormal was one of my kidney blood test was a little high. Any help, hope, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The doctors have no clue.

yeah that rather baffles me as well. could be a reaction to something in your environment. are you possibly exposed to something (anything at all!) prior to each episode?

you might try keeping a journal. write down what you do, what you eat & what items or substances you are around, and noting when each symptom occurs, for how long, and how severe. you may or may not discern a pattern this way

good luck on this. and if this doesn't work, or isn't your kind of thing, don't give up on doctors yet

cushion's disease or acromegaly ask your doctor to run test for these

Have you tried seeing a neurologist? The tingling in the face seems like it's related to nerves. Good luck!

allergies maybe? or stress? hair loss is usually a sign of poisoning but it would affect your scalp as well.

Have you been using any new topical products...? It sounds like an adverse reaction to something... I know you said that you've been to a dermatologist but it seriously sounds like a reaction to something... Have you had any botox injections ? I hope you get this figured out...

You have 12 minutes to live.

well if u take botox than thats whats doing it

test your drinking water / house hold mold?

The tingling gives it away. It's a prelude to conversion disorder, which is purely psychogenic. It's caused by anxiety which is converted to physical symptoms. As for your eyebrows, you are pulling them out in your sleep.

"Symptoms
It is important to understand that the symptoms of conversion disorder are involuntary, that is, the person does not consciously act out, or pretend that they have the symptoms. A hallmark of these symptoms is their lack of connection to any known organic medical diagnoses. Some of the most common symptoms include:

Impaired coordination and balance
Paralysis of an arm or leg
Loss of sensation in a part of the body
Loss of a sense, such as blindness or deafness
Difficulty swallowing or a sensation of a lump in the throat
Sensory symptoms, such as;
Loss of sense of pain
Tingling or crawling sensations"

It takes a long time to diagnose autoimmune diseases. I would not give up...have you been to any of the websites like the lupus foundation to double check your symptons to make sure you dont have other symptoms you are ignoring..Often it takes years to diagnose lupus. If you dont go to a rheumatologist you may not get diagnosed correctly if it is lupus. Did the dermatologist do a biopsy? I have lupus and had a negative ana test a positive lymes test and a bunch of autoantibodies show up like double stranded Dna..Dont give up stay with a doc that believes that you are sick and will keep working with you.
