Small red itchy lumps yellow scabs dermatitis?


I have red itchy spots and small yellow scabs on my scalp and knees my doctor says its dermatitis. I have had this for 2 years and its geting no better i have been using the shampoo and Betnovate changing my beding and its still there will this go or do i just have to lern to live with this
I am 20 and its causing hair loss i have asked for a skin biopsy but my dactor told me there is no such test any advice have you herd of this

Go see a dermatologist. Your doctor is not a specialist in skin conditions. There are other possibilities... one, it may be a bacterial infection, I had something similar on my hands and it turned out to be a staph infection that I was prescribed antibiotics to clear it up. Another possibility is a cortisone cream that is prescription strength, or taken in pill or shot form.

Basically, get to a dermatologist.
