Does anyone no a good help for dermatitis?? |
I have industrial dermatitis on my left hand only, it gets really red and itchy and hurts the only thing is i work in a kitchen so my hands are in water i have steroid cream off my doctor but its not helping. I also where gloves when my hands are in water but i do a lot of handwashing does anyone no of a good soap or something i could use to stop my hands getting any worse. I have the same problem, being a nurse I have to wash my hands a million times a day and use alcohol gel rub too. I get very sore hands, I found a lotion called Gloves In A Bottle (you can buy it from ebay or Amazon) and it's excellent. You apply it every 4 hours and it acts as a barrier, it's waterproof so you can still wash your hands many times between applications. I use Dermol lotion to wash my hands (I get it on prescription but you can buy it from ebay). Use an intensive moisturiser at least twice a day and a specially formulated overnight hand cream (doublebase works for me), slather it on your hands and wear cotton gloves overnight. Try some cream.. Calamine is always good.. it cools the skin down and stops it from getting inflammed. Hello there. The herbal anti-eczema spray/cream combo from http://www.champori.com works very well for dermatitis. |
