I got dentures 1 yr ago and having alot of trouble with having way to much saliva on top of my dentures. help! |
I got upper dentures one yr ago and I'm having problems with to much moisture on the top of my dentures. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As time passes, your tissue shrinks and a void is created under the denture. As the void gets larger, the suction on the denture is not as tight and things begin to get under the seal and the dentures become like a little trap up there for fluids or solids. All you need to do is call your dentist and talk to them about a reline to get your dentures back to their proper fit. Nothing to it. good luck to you They may be too loose a fit. Mine are tight and no excess saliva, but they do need to be removed and cleaned daily. oh, no, do not get a reline!!! i had mine relined and now the reline is chipping out that is very painful and it cuts your gum, |
