Should i get dentures?

im 37 and have bad teeth my question is should i get dentures?

I would recommend having a full dental examination first with x-rays and take it from there. most people think dentures are the best way to keep from having dental pain. with dentures you lose 60% of your biting and chewing ability and you still have to see the dentist once a year to check for proper fit. we continue to lose bone as we age and you will eventually need to have the dentures relined sooner or later and they will never function as well as as your natural teeth. it is a big step let your dentist give you his recommendation first some teeth are better than no teeth and the technology available now days are aw some for tooth replacement (crowns, bridges, rootcanales, implants, valplast partials) find a facility that has resident dentist and you can get your work done at a fraction of the price compared to a private office, the residents are over seen buy a liaison who is the best in the field of dentristy. good luck

Well I say go for it if you like to eat

If bad teeth are important than NO and if better smile is important than YES

Yes, if you are having trouble eating.

Hi, I'm 23 and just made the decision to get dentures last week. My dentist is pulling the remainder of my teeth and putting in my temporary denture on this coming Wednesday. Honestly, I'm scared to death. My problems started when I had braces. My dentist told me I will be in a lot of pain or about 4 days, then it will get better. I was having tons of pain and could barely eat anything harder than mashed potatoes! Plus, the dentist said I'll have the Hollywood smile I always wanted. Plus, I wouldn't be as sick (headaches, colds, etc) and I'd feel better about myself. I hope I helped. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

you should ask your dentist what you should do. if then he has no other solution then go for it. nothing is wrong with them. i know many people that have them.

if you think you should i would but i wouldn't tel anyone
