What are the areas dentistry can grow in?

what are the areas that dentistry can grow in and gain recognition?

what are the latest medical and dentistry findings?

is dentistry in fact growing?

Oral Cancer is starting to become a lot more prevalent and there are new cancer detection screening equipment on the market. Oral Cancer is now #6 of the leading cancers, and many people don't even realize that oral cancer is even an issue.
Implant surgery is also very big and growing treatment options are becoming available to help those who are endentulous and for those who want a better, longer lasting option than a lot of the costly bridgework.

Agree with the above about implant dentistry.

Also, more and more links are being established between oral health and several serious medical conditions. As people begin to accept that diseases of the mouth can shorten their lives, dentistry will become more important and dentists will no longer be thought of as "lesser" doctors.

I agree with MK, oral cancer screening is a must with every dentist and implants have come a long way and continue to improve.
