Dental sealants?

I was just wondering if there was any possible way that a hole could develop in a dental sealant. The sealant is under 2 months old and the hole is very small. I brushed my teeth very well so it is not just something stuck on there. Thank you for anyhelp that you have

Yes. It is possible. Sealants are applied to your teeth in liquid form and are set (cured) hard. Sometimes, if the teeth are not dried properly or there may be an air bubble, there may be a hole that develops later. Just tell your dentist and he'll reseal over it...

I'm going to echo PiGuy's answer.... the tiny hole was probably due to an air bubble that formed during the application of the sealant material. Advise your dentist and he/she should reseal it at no charge.

HELLO,
IF AN AIR BUBBLE WAS INADVERTENTLY SEALED WHEN THE SEALANT WAS PLACED THE DENTIST SHOULD JUST RE-SEAL THE TOOTH.

They shouldn't. You may get some stain around the margin of where the sealant fills in the biting surface of the tooth, but that would probably mean that the margin is leaking slightly.
