I am looking for agood dental and health insurrance. Can someone please help? |
I am a foreigner and I don't have a very good understanding of the health system in U.S. I am trying to purchase a decent helath insurrance, but my main concern would be regarding a dental insurrance as I have some serious problems with my teeth. Can someone give me an advice? I would totally apreciate it. i would suggest a PPO, they are accepted almost everywhere, in or out of network and they will cover you anywhere. My pick would be CIgna PPO, Blue Cross Blue SHield PPO, or even Delta PPO. Stay away from the HMO"'s, they cover very very little and they will only cover at specific doctors offices, you dont get a choice. tryy to get something with a reasonable deductable and yearly maximum. you say you need a lot of work on your teeth and if you get a low yearly max, you will run out of coverage and will have to pay insurance, a percentage of the covered work, and the full price after you max out your benefits. a max thats over $2000 would be ok, unless you anticipate more work. dental care is some what expensive. I can give you information about an affordable Dental Plan. |
