Is there any cure for dental caries without removing the affected teeth?

I want to know the precautions to be taken to prevent the dental infection from spreading to other tooth. Please tell the dental hygiene that should be taken care of.

caries must be removed, however new techniques leads to minimal removal of tooth structure and even sterilizing the lesion by the use of devices such as healozon.
Also good oral hyegien must be carried on, limit the sugars intake to after the meals and then brush your teeth and avoid any snacks until the other meal.
Of course if caries reaches the pulp (nerve) then root canal is the treatment of choice, teeth are only removed when they are decayed to the point that makes them none restorable

pliers and alcohol

dental caries , can not be cured, andthey dont spread to other teeth, caries generally start to poor oral hygiene,
make sure you brush ure teeth twice a day and floss daily aswell, as this remove bacterias from inbetween the teeth, which a toothbrush can not reach,
if you are doing these, then maybe u should see a hygienist, she will show u how to get to every surface and make sure there properly cleaned, also diet plays a role, i suggest u see the dentist, as certain medications can make u more septical to dental decay
happy brushing

Many people with FM (and plenty who don't have it) have trouble with dental tartar, leading to gum infections and tooth loss. Here is a recipe for dealing with this problem that my periodontist taught me.

Buy a surgical cleaner called Hibiclens from your local drugstore. Also buy an antibacterial mouthwash (I use green Scope.) Mix 1/2 tsp. of Hibiclens with 16 oz of mouthwash. (For people who don't eat sugar this is unbearably sweet. I actually use 8 oz. Scope and 8 oz. water). Use this as a mouthwash before bed at night. It kills the bacteria in your mouth, which cause plaque to form. You'll notice the difference in your mouth in the morning. Forget 'morning breath.'

The disadvantage: Hibiclens tends to stain your teeth. This is an aesthetic boo-boo, but has no effect on your teeth.

The cure: Mentadent toothpaste. It is marvelous.

You do not have to remove the affected teeth. You only have to remove the caries. Do not "feed" your cavities, which means be careful about sugar intake. Once the caries reach the inner parts of your tooth, though, the bacteria actually can survive by eating YOU for lunch, so it never stops. Get it fixed.
