I have a discoloured aching tooth & there is a cavity sort of thing s/o dental caries. What's the treatment

the tooth is dying my friend--you can save the tooth by having an apoectomy-- that is where they drill into the tooths root canals and extract the dying nerves, stopping your pain, killing the tooth, then cleaning and filling the cavity--they will apply a cap to hide the discoloration--this process will give You a ridgid--intact tooth to chew with and improve your smile---later it may need to be removed, but for now get all the milage you can out of that bit of Organic Hardware!!!---Signer---JEM

root canal and then a cap

The possibility of having it removed, or have root canal surgery,

Go to the Dentist you have a cavity he will drill and fill and if its real bad he will do a root canal if its worth saving if not he will just pull it.

Other than a root canal, and depending on the location of the tooth, having it pulled out is another option.

You need some antibiotics. do not wait. An infection in the tooth sould be very serious if the poison travels to the brain. Do not hesitate to go to emergency room where they will treat you with antibiotics, and pain, and suggest a dentist that i am sure will say either to extract it, or root canal. I wish you the best of luck but please go the nearest emergency room and seek treatment for the infection. It sould be serious.

Gum or oral infections can run the blood stream to the heart.

Use ANTI BACTERIAL MOUTH WASH AND HYDROGEN

PEROXIDE TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH WITH (IT WILL GET

INTO THE GUMS TO HEAL THE PAIN AND HELP THE GUMS)

TO HELP THE SITUATION TILL YOU GET TO THE DENTIST.

BUT DO NOT PROCRASTINATE.
