How to prevent and cure dental caries? |
how to prevent black spots which are appearing in molar and premolar, my wisedom tooth looks bad, but i guess i can atleast prevent in molar and premolar The best way to prevent dental caries is to eat foods without sugar, get a regular check-up and cleaning, brush and floss regularly, and to get the top of your molars and premolars sealed once they come into the mouth. It is also a good idea to drink water with fluoride and use a fluoridated toothpaste. If there are already black spots appearing in your molars and premolars is may be too late to prevent caries, as it may already have occurred, which is the black spots you are seeing. However, if they are more like black lines in the natural fissures of your teeth, they MAY just be stains. You need to see a dentist, especially for the wisdom tooth, it sounds like it needs a lot of work, but also for the other teeth with black spots on them. To cure dental caries, you have to have the caries drilled out of the tooth and a filling put in. In terms of future prevention, brush twice daily, floss daily, and use a flouride mouth wash. Try to limit your intake of sugary foods and soda. But go and see your dentist SOON - the loner you leave it, the worse the cavities get, and the harder (and sorer!) they are to repair. |
