Is there any difference between dengue fever and dengue hemorraghic fever?

i am going to report in our class tomorrow and i am very confuse if i would touch dengue fever in my report in fact, i was asked to report DFH... what do u think guys? Help.....

I know, i know, HEMORRHAGIC, right?

Yes. DHF has a higher mortality rate than DF. Cases of DHF also show higher fever, haemorrhagic phenomena, thrombocytopenia and haemoconcentration. A small proportion of cases lead to dengue shock syndrome (DSS) which has a high mortality rate.

DF develops into DHF when not treated properly.
