Share your experiences when you had DENGUE and was confined? |
tell us the story from the symptoms to what was did to you in the hospital like how many blood tests was done what happened after you had dengue, were there still rashes or bruises...things like that. I had a high fever for 3 days, then I went to the hospital to have a blood test. The platelets were waybelow normal so the doctor had me confined for 5 days. WHile I was in the hospital. I had my blood checked regularly. 4-5 times a day actually. Dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) are acute febrile diseases.This infectious disease is manifested by a sudden onset of fever, with severe headache, muscle and joint pains (myalgias and arthralgias 鈥?severe pain gives it the name break-bone fever or bonecrusher disease) and rashes; the dengue rash is characteristically bright red petechia and usually appears first on the lower limbs and the chest - in some patients, it spreads to cover most of the body. There may also be gastritis. |
