Dengue fever in the Philippines...?

What do you know about it? What is the mortality rate for children? If you have it, what can you do to help the symptoms? How bad is it if the child is bleeding from the nose? Thanks for your help.

He's been at the hospital for a day or two now. They are monitoring him so I am praying it doesn't get any worse.

hearing that the nose of the child is bleeding is a very bad news,,,
it simplymeans something,, very low platelete count and immediate treatment is needed lest the child dies,,, dengue fever is so dangerous once it reaches the level of hemorrhage,,, bring him to the nearest hospital now,,

sana nakatulong ako kababayan,,,
