Dengue fever is not transmittable from one person / host to another. It is spread by the bite of a mosquito. It is therefore not contagious.

dengue fever is zoonotic which it can be spread from animals to humans.
there are 3 types of transmission
communicable
contagious
zoonotic

maybe contagious if there is a blood contact
or blood transfusion of dengue patient to any person
and it is fever so i can be transmitted like a fever
but that case is rare

definitely not...it isn't contagious, it is spread from the bite of a mosquito called the ages agypti..hence, it is more common on tropical countries, so if you don't belong to that category then it is less likely that you would acquire the disease.
