Dementia disorder?

I am 48 years old and I will be undergoing neurology consult and cat/mri, and other tests to diagnosis if I have an early onset of dementia. They told me the name of this illness but I have for gotton it's name. It has an early onset (40-60's)with a very poor prognosis.
Any thought as to knowing the name of this early onset dementia? Thank you

I'm so sorry - my mother, now age 86, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's four years ago. It has truly broken my heart.

I don't know the name you're looking for, but I hope your tests all have positive results. I will be praying for you.

Uh, why don't you consult the doctor. That would be the best way to find out.
