My great-grandmother has dementia/alzheimer's and I'm trying to write about it for my book.......?

But i am so stuck. The topic is so sad for me. I mainly want to write about the disease and then compare it with her symptoms And then explain how sad it is for me never to really know how she is. Well my question are:

Any tips for writer's block? How can I explain dementia in a poetic way?

Don't even try to put it in a poetic way. Describe it accurately and share how it is effecting you and your family. I think that would be more help-full to others that are just beginning to experience a loved one slipping away mentally. My grandmother had it, and it was heartbreaking to see this woman disappear in front of me.

can u plese give me 1 page from your book about it i need it for HW
