Dehydration?

Okay, I drink a decent amount of water, sometimes I refill a water bottle 10 or more times a day and I still get a dehydrating feeling. I hate the feeling so much and I have had my thyroids tested a few times. Any ideas of what is going on?

define dehydration feeling. Maybe it's not the feeling. Have you had other blood test done besides your thyroid? if not, try it. Sounds like you drink too much water. by drinking too much- you can flush all your "good'' chemicals out too. so be careful on the amount of water you drink.

go ask a doctor, i mean more than half of these people dont know whats going on.

Try "power aid" instead of water for awhile It sounds like you need some potassium............

Maybe you eat to much salt or chocolate. They make you thirsty.

Yes, go see a doctor there are many reasons for your continuing to be thirsty.

How about your blood sugar? Excessive thirst is a symptom of diabetes.

A friend of mine ended up in a coma because she drank too much water. the only reason she is still alive is due to her mother's wondrous praying ability. (For the medically knowledgeable, her electrolytes were at 104, well below the level needed to sustain life.)

She still has some brain damage.

Too much water can wash out your electrolytes. It can be a miserable way to die.

Ten bottles a day says you're on a rapid course for disaster. Stop immediately and drink some Gator aid or Accelerade or Cytosport to help get your electrolytes corrected. Don't exceed the directions on the container, or you'll get an upset stomach.

Also eat some bananas, and be sure to salt your food. I use "Real Salt" available from health food stores, because it is balanced with trace minerals.

Good luck and be well.

PS. If you don't start feeling better in a few days, go seek out a Homeopath, they can get your water absorption challenge back in balance.

Too much water is a possibility, your liver may be acting up, coffee and alcohol sap water and nutrients out of you, gator aid seems to be a good choice, eat more fiber.
We didn't have much when I grew up, some dinners were popcorn and water; salt is somewhat useful in retaining water, butter has fats to keep you warm and the water swells the popcorn and makes you feel full. Works with pancakes too. And it could be a symptom of a diabetic condition.
