Dehydration. what not too drink?

what can be drunk when dehydrating that is worse than drinking nothing, a liquid that will, not may, increase dehydration? its for a school project, i need to know, lets say i was stuck in the dessert and had a six pack of beer would it be better to drink it or would i last longer with out (other liquids that are not good)

beer is bad will dehydrate you if stuck in a desert you should first look for greenery this will indicate water
in some cases you can drink cactus juice but if your not used to it this will give you the runs.

u can hang plastic like a bag and catch water and in the mean time suck on a shirt button to keep moisture in your mouth so your toung dosnt swell as well as you can drink you own urin this is an old trick but you have to be hard up,
also you can piss on you'r underwear tie this to top of head once again you have to be hard up after bieng in the desert you urin will reak but protecting your head is vital to your survival

Anything with high sodium will dehydrate you faster, your body pushes out water to make room for the salt that you intake hence, dehydrating you

Urine. Whoever said drinking your own urine is good in a dehydration emergency is wrong. You will only hasten your demise this way. Plus the acid in the urine will tear your gums and palate to shreds after a period of time.

Any alcohol is bad to drink when dehydrated. The best thing is water and anything like Gatorade etc., that boosts the electrolytes. I would suggest not drinking the beer, but then again it all depends on the type of beer and the alcohol content of the beer as to the rate of dehydration. There is no clear cut answer without specifics.
