Please help me! I hurt so bad!?

Triple lower back fusion with rods and screws.Been to sev. different specialists.Currently having injections monthly. They're very painful and do not last for more than 2 weeks. These consist of nerve blocks,SI joint injections, and trigger point injections.I am also diabetic and can't have any steriods.I am SO tired of pills and the reactions from them. Most of all,the lack of mobility because of the pain.I am currently on an anti-depressant.I feel that it helps with my mood, but not with the pain. Currently on pain med and muscle relaxer.I don't want to feel drugged and am very sensitive to medicines. Can't take any anti-inflamatory meds..stomach problems. Before you say,"talk" to your doctors.I HAVE!! I need something to work! I have been in phys.therapy, which I am not a candidate. The risk of re-injury is so high with the degenerative disc disease, and knee problems.Even tried the muscle stimulation, water therapy, moist heat, massage, ice packs.Symptoms returned after a short relief. HELP!

I have been hearing a lot about positive thinking therapy. They keep telling themselves, like a mantra, that they are well. The book is called The Secret. I did the same thing when I was hospitilized for a lacerated cornea. They told me I would not see from that eye again. Instead of sitting on my bed, I was very positive, helping the nurses when I could, and kept praying and with the assumption that I would see again. And now the doctors tell me that the injured is stronger than the other one. It is proven that Western Med can prolong conditions, even sustain a propensity for problems. After all, they are just drug dealers.

Have you tried relaxation therapy? With help you can learn to totally relax your muscles and with that you might get some relief from this chronic pain. There are many methods for relaxation, from the Budist method to the natural childbirth breathing technique, which also relaxes muscles. Do you get relief it you are in the water? A whirpool tub, or even a hot tub might help.

i would ask your regular doctor for advice and be safer for yourself as we do not know your physical history like your doctor
