Im a 29 yr old women taking warfarin for deep vein thrombosis..? |
iv got 4 kids and i got dvt whilst taking the combined pill,im now looking for a other alternative form of contraception,iv recently tried the progestreon only pill but it did not siut me, iv been told by my family planning i could have the mirena coil fitted,as there isnt much choice of contraception i can now take,if theres any ladies out there who have had a simler experiance or those who have the mirena coil fitted i would be gratefull of any advice.. I found the mirena coil brilliant. No discomfort and periods dwindled to hardly anything. Would recommend it to anyone especially as your other option might be sterilisation or send hubby for a vasectomy. Good luck I have paraguard IUD no hormones. They told me my period would be longer and heavier and crampy. I've got none of those things. If you had trouble with the progesteron only pill you may have trouble with the mirena as that has progesterone too. I swear by my paraguard. i had a dvt at your age and i have only two children my husband had a vasecetomy i dont mean to be rude but how many children do you intend on having you must know how dangerous and painful a dvt is you are at a high risk. |
