I have a red line on my thigh that moves. Been there for 3 years. Is that a blood clot?

It started near my groin area and has moved up my thigh so now its at the top and keeps moving. I heard this could be DVT or deep vein thrombosis. I am worried it might be and think it might be a blood clot. Am I right to worry? I heard that if this is DVT the part of the blood clot that broke off can travel to your lungs and cause pulmonary embolism which can eventually kill a person.

If it's moving, it's probably an embolus. And since it's moving, i would get it checked...ASAP. Before it dislodges within an artery and goes to your brain, causing stroke.

You should ask your doctor.

Go to a doctor right away, I know someone who almost died from that kind of thing . . .
I'm not trying to scare you! Just trying to get the point across that it's important.

you should find immediate help. If its travelling it can tavel to your brain and heart an you can die. dont want that to happen. seek a doctor tomorrow. hurry
