White boxer,no deafness but has itchy ears been tested for mites came back neg. whats wrong?

His ears itch i clean them but only helps for awhile. It looks like he's trying to press hard like its deep inside. And when i press hard while rubbing it feels so good to him its like he's in a trance. please help. Poor mom of a white boxer..

It could be a lot of wax,take him to the vet,if you get no satisfaction,take him to anther vet.

YOUR DOG SOUNDS LIKE IT HAS DRY SKIN.GO TO YOUR VET AND ASK FOR A SHAMPOO THAT HAS MOISTURIZERS IN IT.ALSO CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR DOG HAS TICKS.THEY USUALLY GET INTO EARS AND OTHER WARM PLACES.
