Cystitis Problems? |
Had cystitis and all the effects that come with it, e.g pain when urinating, blood in my wee and always feeling like i need to go. I had the sachets which helped a little as it stopped the stinging but i still felt as if my bladder was constantly full. I went to the doctors who took a wee sample, he said there was a trace of blood in it, so he just prescribed me a 3 day course of antibiotics. I now have no pain at all but i still constantly need a wee. My bladder is constantly refilling. I should probably go back to the doctors. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar after having cystitis? I used to get cystitis all the time when with my first partner, I would suggest going back to your doctor just to make sure the infection is gone. blood indicates a possible pylonephritis which is probably acute - you have been drinking lots i hope - good you will therefore pee a lot. - if it burns again go back to the doctors. - you can also get simple prepararations such as mixture of potassium citrate with lots of water which will ease it.- it changes the acidity of the urine in the bladder and tends to get rid of simple infections - if it doesn't clear up you should go back to the docs or to the local Genito urinary clinic - especially if you have a new partner - as this can just be a normal occurrence like thrush with new partners - don't think just one course of treatment will always sort out the problem there may be a lot more involved - if a one night stand or an unknown partner discuss this at the GUM clinic and with your doctor - your partner must be fastidiously clean . Both male and female as you both need not to cross infect. Males should pay special attention to the foreskin area. Yes, I have. You should go back to the doctor. Your bladder may still be irritated. Your doctor probably told you to drink water...do it. sorry to hear about your complaint. but have you considered drinking cranberry juice. it very good for women's urinal conditions. Go back to the doctors as the infection could still be there. You could also have introduced thrush bacteria (which can be caused by the antibiotics) into the urethra again causing another infection. Also, don't drink cranberry juice as the sugar is awful for cystitis, take a cranberry supplement :) ive had this before but not with the blood, try drinkin alot of cranberry juice, it helps get rid of this. |
