Cystitis Question? |
This year I've had 3 'bouts' of Cystitis, the last one was about 3 weeks ago and I had to go see my Doctor because it was a propper infection and I took the course of tablets, and that sorted it out a bit. About a week ago it felt like I was getting it again, but I ignored it because it wasn't as paintful and it only burned after I'd been to the toilet. For the first few days it just felt like I needed the toilet straight after I'd been, for about half an hour, but it wasn't painful. It started getting more painful about Saturday and I decided to take the powder for it yesterday but it still doesn't seem to be working that well, and I've taken all the precautions so as not to get it since last time but I've still got it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you. I used to get Cystitis a lot and am very sympathetic as I know how painful it can be! When I feel the first signs of an attack now I dissolve 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda in 1/2 pint cold water and drink it all. It tastes disgusting, but usually does the trick for me. Basically that's all that's in the powders you can buy. Give it a go, it worked for me! Good luck x |
