Tablets for Cystitis?

I suffer from cystitis occasionally, maybe twice a year, and i use Oasis cranberry sachets to ease the discomfort and they seem to work very well.

The thing is that i hate soluble medicine... anything and it makes me wretch. I only manage Oasis by diluting it into a very small amount of water and having one disgusting gulp and washing it down with lots of 100% water. Even then i wretch.

Has anyone else that suffers from this found a tablet alternative with the same effect as these sachets?

I don't want to take anti-biotics unless i really really have to.

It seems pretty obvious that you should just drink cranberry juice.

Drinking cranberry juice itself is said to be just as effective.

Unfortunatly no there isnt an alternative. have you tried another brand, as they do vary in their taste. Some of them are carbonated, which makes them more palatable for some reason. A cheaper alternative is bicarbonate of soda diluted in water, but it tastes disgusting.

JUST DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE (PURE) REGUALLARY
AND HOPEFULLY U WONT GET SO OFTEN

Hi,
Unfortunately there are no tablets for cystitis in the UK, it has to be those awful powders (they totally taste like soap don't they?).

I had cystitis while in France and they have tablets there, and they actually taste nice, like cranberrys. Not fair!

no there are no tablets that are the same as oasis or any other cystitis remedy unfortunately. all they do is counteract the acidity of the urine and make u feel more comfortable. if u really cant take them then just drink loads of water.
