Would alcohol affect cystitis?

Had a feeling of needing to wee a lot but not actually weeing for the last few days. I suspect it's probably cystitis. It doesn't hurt but the feelings very uncomfortable an irritating really.
Had a heavy drinking session last night, would it affect it because it seems much worse today? It keeps coming and going aswell?

Yes cos the alcohol has to go through ur kidneys that produce the urine.
You may well have a urine infection which could also mean if not treated could cause a kidney infection and if still untreated the cause of stones, the feeling of wanting to go to wee could be caused by blood in you urine.
Go seek your doctors advice take a urine sample and they will be able to test to see if u need antibiotics or just a cure off the counter for cystitis.

You will also need to drink plenty of water to help wash the infection through, robinsons lemon barley water and cranberry juice also helps.

of course it will-you are dehydrated!!!!!!!

Yes, it could because of the acidic nature of alcohol. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
