Do I have a bladder weakness, and was the cause due to me having cystitis repeated attacks?

well i had cystitis i took anti bo it hasnt came back few , but i for no reason my underswears are wet in when ive been to the toliet in the morning when i get up, and put a clean pairs of underwear on , it gets all wet , is this a bladder weakness and was this because of the cystitis I went to the doctors and they said I was clear of inflammation

so what do I do I cant stand this ,this stupid cystitis attack it has changed my life first the repeated attacks now to deal with this problem I dont why water just comes out ,it even happens after I eat a meal

before I ever had a cystisis attack I never had such problems now my life seem so just not how things were

Yes it sounds like you do have bladder weakness

I have had cystitus loads and it so bloody painful and horrible. I never wet myself though, I have had it so bad I can't do anyhting except sit on the loo for hours drinking pint after pint of water. I think I get it when I don't drink enough water or drink too much alcohol and sex can bring it on as well I've heard! Are you sure its wee in your knickers and not very watery discharge??? Not being crude but it could be that???? I'm sure that ok as woman we're all different and as long as its not smelly its fine. Also I think once you have had it you're prone to it more then the norm, a bit like getting cold sores.

I've had it just recently, not very bad . I think the inflammation that it causes must inflame the nerves that control the muscles that sit at bottom of the bladder and cause you to lose sensation temporarily. I'm sure it will get better. Heard of so many people with cystitis at the moment. Did anyone else get a very heavy soreish kind of ache all around that area and tops of thighs,, but definitely outside he body not inside?

Have u just had a baby recentlly,this can cause bladder weakness, or you might just have a urine infection,although you said you were clear of inflamation it sometimes dos'nt show up so go back to the doctors, and try taking cranberry juice + captules , good luck.

I kind of know what you mean, I've had cystitis alot too, in the past, what a pain in the neck! I dont know if anyone has told you this, but if you're sexually active, always try and have a wee after sex, as this flushes any bacteria that might travel up the urethra, out again. I dont know if the bladder weakness is due to the cystitis, but like you say, I have a bit of the same problem, too, a my knickers get a little wet...My mum used to have alot of problems with urine infections and kidney infections, and she had the same problem, (she used to wet herself a little when she sneezed!) but she's also had kids, so it could be that? Maybe you should go to the Dr. and talk to them about it, and they can suggest something? Sorry this answer is a bit disjointed, I'm really tired, but I wanted you to know you're not alone!
