Color of cystic fibrosis poop/stool in toddler? |
what color is a toddler's poop that has cystic fibrosis and what does bulky mean? Stool is usually light colored and very hard to flush. Yellow and has a distinctive horrible odor unlike normal feces. I am not sure what that "greasy and foul" means. Based on other diagnosis tools, it's probably fairly obvious or it wouldnt be listed. But if any suspicion you should immediately get the child tested. Its VERY quick, cheap and easy. Early detection can help greatly. I am sure you read, if you are of northern European decent, you have a fairly decent chance of carrying the gene. |
