How common is cystic fibrosis within Australia?


I would like to know how many people within Australia are affected by Cystic Fibrosis. I would also like to know the death rate as well.

And as for the death rate, CF is ALWAYS fatal. It is the leading genetic disorder in children and the life expectancy is 33 years.
