Does anyone here have Cushing's Syndrome?

If you do, how hard was it to get it diagnosed. What have your experiences been? What were your symptoms? Thanks!

Hello, my sister has this illness and her life has been tough. Her body naturally creates too much of the hormone cortisol. She ahs had to quite her job and go on disability.
It was diagnosed very quickly ( within a week). It is diagnosed in the early stages with a 24-hour urine test among others. This test tells your doctor what your cortisol levels are.
Her symptoms are fat round face, thin arms, thin skin, she bruises very easy, purple stretch marks everywhere, very fragile bone (she has broke her ribs several time just by sneezing), severely fatigued, diabetic and excessive hair growth on her face.
She has had surgery to have the adrenal glands removed and she is on medication which has helped allot.
