Physically, what kind of problems can lithium produce?

cushing's syndrome
diabetes
hyperglycemia
hypothyroidism
serotonin syndrome
hyperinsulinism
all of the above
by the way i have bipolar disorder and ive had it for almost 16 years

Lithium can cause:

hypothyroidism
depression
increased white blood cell count
kidney damage
hair loss
weight gain
sensitivity to cold

Basically, the lithium possibly led to your hypothyroidism. Being overweight can lead to diabetes, but so can diet and heredity.
