Anyone have Cushing's or a tumor on their pituitary gland? |
I was diagnosed with a tumor on my pituitary gland several years ago and after having a miscarriage and then another pregnancy that made it full term, I am wondering if i may actually have Cushing's syndrome. I would like to talk to someone who has this form, or has had any complications like weight gain and/or water rentention associated with a pituitary tumor. i was just recently diagnosed with cushing's due to having a tumor on my pituitary gland. the symptoms attached to this have been life altering. I have just Had surgery for acromegaly in march this year.the Australian pituitary foundation helped me a lot.they will help u a lot.their web site is www.pituitary.asn.au..or just email me i might be able to help u .. I've known a couple people with cushing's. There is a very helpful website where you can get support, ideas, and names of doctors who specialize in pituitary tumors throughout the country.
