Please Help me with my crutches(any doctors answers are also greatly apprieciated)? |
I am around 5'8 and i think that I should be on crutches but in feet what height should they be I also havn't been to the doctor yet You should probably get x-rays taken, if you haven't already. 2 weeks is a bit long for a sprain to be swollen and bruised. When you are standing with the crutches the ends on the ground should be shoulder length apart. The first answer was right on the money about the crutches. Just keep adjusting them until they're comfortable. Your ankle, on the other hand, should have started healing by now. I presume that you had it xrayed at the hospital. If it is improving every day then you should be fine but if it isn't you ought to go for more xrays. Hairline fractures are easy to miss and will cause the problems that you are experiencing. If after 13 days you are having trouble putting weight on the foot, then you need to get it looked at. or looked at again - if you 've already been to the doctor for it. It could be more than a simple sprain. |
