Walking Boot,Crutches,And Snow...HELP!? |
This is basically 2 questions: I don't care if the bottom touches the ground because it's plastic and touches the ground all the time. It's mostly that I don't want to get my foot all wet...And there's like 6 inches of snow on the ground right now! 1. Take your time, that's about all you can do if you can't avoid the inclement weather. 1) you just have to be really careful and if you can, walk where there isn't snow. Oh honey if I were you I would take a couple of days off of school and have someone bring you your work. I have been on crutches since December and I have come to realize that the world it not made for people on crutches. It is so difficult in ice and snow. I know that is probably the easy way out to just not go anywhere, but I would rather do that then slip and fall. When I was on crutches in high school I used a wheelchair so I wouldn't fall, maybe your school has one you can borrow for the day? Ask. |
