OMG!! I am sooo nervous! Crutches!! HELP?

Okay I have screwed up my knee some how and the orthopedic doctor said it would be better by the middle of Feburary (2mths after injury) and I asked him "What if it's not?" and he said "don't worry they always get better" So I am like okay. I have been resting my knee and the middle of February comes and my knee all of the sudden gets all painful and swollen and inflammed (like clockwork) so I went to my general care Doc and he said "oohh just give it time" while I am thinking in my head I've given it two monthes. So my Dad and I talked it over and he said "time to take matters into our own hands" so went out and bought a pair of crutches and I am going to stay on those for at least two weeks and let my knee rest and not walk on it. But I am NERVOUS FOR SCHOOL!!! I have made the crutches comfortable for my arms and adjusted for me but I feel so helpless. Any suggestions on anything!!! I am SOO NERVOUS! How do I not look soo cocky?

first you need to relax & breath...its no big deal do not worry about those kids from school...take care of that knee which is more important then what immature kids in school are going to think you need to toughen up & go in there Like a big girl besides those kids dont pay your rent i hope this help your confidence i wish you the best & that you think about you

You need to see another doctor and get a 2nd opinion.

crutches are awesome
it makes ppl open space for u
and they are just plain fun to wack ppl with
enjoy them

Don't be nervous, everything will be just fine. Most people feel sorry for you and ask to help you with your books and stuff. Ask a good friend to help out and to carry your lunch tray. Also, it would help if you carry your backpack around so you can be able to have your books with you. Plus, most teachers let you leave class a few minutes early, so you can get to your next class before the traffic. You probably don't want to be in the hallway anyway while everyone else is, so your knee doesn't get bumped. If you are really worried have your parents write you a note so you know for sure that you are allowed to leave class early, and if you are late it won't count against you. Good Luck at school, I hope your knee feels better, and remember... Relax!
