Help! Can Croup get worse after two days or it can be a complication? |
We took my 2.5 year old daughter to hospital two nights ago because she woke up with a really bad cough and couldn't breath well. She received a dose of oral steroids and was sent home. Last night she had a very mild episode, but tonight she has a very runny nose, watery eyes and is developing a fever (37.5). Is this the way this disease is or it can be a comlication? She has been eating and drinking well. it is all part of it but i would recommend going back to the doctor to make sure your daughter is not getting anything else with it my son had it about 6 weeks ago and he ended up getting a little touch of the flu and need antibiotics for a few weeks to get over it.hope all goes well. best advise. get a second opinion from other doctors. nothing is more important than the health of your child. |
