Is croup an issue with people that have COPD?

Last time I checked croup is a virus. If you have an infant in the house with an adult who had COPD I would keep them apart, but you'd have to ask a Dr id croup is an issue.

Any virus, is dangerous to someone with COPD. The person has a lower tolerance to to colds, etc. The immune system is usually comprised. Dust, and chemicals can also effect someone with COPD also. Make sure that the person with COPD has yearly flu and pneumonia shots.

Yes, for sure, croup would be a problem for anyone with COPD. People with COPD already have difficulty breathing so any infection that comes into their lungs will take up more of that precious lung space.
