My child just had croup a week ago and he now has mild congestion but can't seem to hold food down what should |
I would give him some milk and then he sometimes will cough and vomit it up right away. He isn't lethargic and plays and cries just like he always does but I can't seem to get him to eat very much and when he does he vomits. His stomach is probably upset because of all the mucus going down his throat. Try to get him to drink water. This will dilute and flush out the mucus. Maybe he'll eat something light like some toast. As long as he is drinking, he's ok for a couple of days. |
