My 15months daughter, had croups then coughing and diarreah? |
since last monday, she had feever at the begining and we were concentrating on the cough and feever as the total times of diarreah was not more than 5-6 times a day, I asked the doctor, he said maybe from the pelgum she has, and he advised me to wait ..her cough became more and the diarreah so I took her to emergency, the doctor prescribed her nebolizer, (ventolin) he said her chest is clear but to help her...cause she had skight weezing. and had 2samples of stool ) as she had visible blood in it...the secoond day early morning she started to vomit so I took her again to the hospital they had another sample from stool and blood test to check if she is dehydrated, all samples were negative but still put her iv that there is nothing he can do and not to worry about the blood because it is red blood not dark? and he said to wait ,and it is viral infection...?!! any body had this experienced before ..I am lost..and she is weak. scary isnt it, the cough is helped by cold weather so if you live in a cold climate bundle her up and let her breathe cold air. For vomiting and diarreah it is lots and lots of fluids so she don'tt dehydrate. and for viral infection it is lots of hand washing and disinfecting ( start by wiping everything down like phone, door knobs, faucets everything people touch. wash hands very often, specially before and after diaper chenges and feedings. that is what keeps the virus from getting worse. hang in there there comes a point when doctors can do no more and you just have to tough it out, oh yeah change her bed sheets too i wish better youre daughter |
