What Could I have?

Well when I was little, I used to get croup, and I have the same symptoms, but I am too old to get it (12 you dont get it after 7)

So what could I be sick with. I have been out of school for 2 days...

Symptoms: Sore throat, trouble breathing, coughing, slight fever, diareah, conjestion, stuffy nose, and tiredness...

I used to get croup 3-4 times a year when I was younger. I got it BAD. one time I had to be on oxygen at the ER, and get a shot in my leg. I only have the seal cough when I wake up.

Karly you said you have strep throat. Its probably just a fever. Dont let it kill you in worry-ness

a common cold

flu?

sounds like the FLU to me.

If it persists another couple of days or if it gets worse... see a doctor.

it's just a cold, I have that all the time

Actually, if you have that deep, croupy cough, you probably have croup. My son was still getting it at your age. Not as common, but not unheard of. But croup comes with a cold or flu sometimes. It's a symptom. You could have a cold, the flu, whatever virus is going around. Google croup and see what you come up with.

My children age 13 and 9 still get the Croup. It is unusual, because you are not suppose to get it after age 5 or so. My daughter just had it 3 days ago. The best thing to help it tough is to go outside in the cool morning air for a few minutes. Breathe in deep from your mouth and exhale from your mouth. This always seem to help it. I am NOT a Dr. , just a mom, who has dealt with this type of thing on many occasions. I hope you feel better ;)

Asthma. See a doctor and get some medication please. You probably needs allergies.

The flu and possibly bronchitis too. You need to go to the doctor. You don't want to end up with pneumonia.
