Is Crohn's Disease classed as a Disability?

Hi, I have Crohn's Disease, was diagnosed about 12 years ago. Things are pretty good. Haven't had a major flare up for about 2 years now, I just put up with some pretty regular day to day stomach pain and running to the toilet every now and then.
Every day is different.

Does anyone know if Crohn's Disease is classed as a Disability since it is incurable and am I able to claim a Disability Pension from Centrelink for it in Australia?

i'm a surgical intern, yes they teach us in med school that it is a disability.

i'm very glad to hear that you haven't had a attack in 2 years.
best of luck~
